4 fastest workout methods to increase muscle for gymer

 It is very difficult to gain muscle mass if you do not exercise properly. This article will help you understand the most popular muscle building methods available today.

There are many methods of exercise to gain muscle mass. However, currently the most popular are 4 methods including: Traditional weight gain, method of over training threshold - Max OT, Super Set method and Drop set method.

4 This method is based on the heaviest weight you can do at most 1 time - 1RM to determine the weight.

In addition to effective exercise, you should stick to a diet rich in protein and fortified foods like whey protein for the fastest muscle recovery and growth.

1. Traditional weight gain method

This is considered a fairly popular practice method in the past. When exercising with this method, you will gradually increase the weight and decrease the number of lifts.

To practice this method, you first need to determine the heaviest weight you can lift 1RM. You can refer to how to calculate 1RM according to the article below:

Then, for each exercise you will practice with 4 sets. In which, 1st and 2nd half are warm-up cards 3 and 4 are main rounds. Keep each set you should rest for 90 - 120 seconds.

- First half: Warm-up exercise from 12-14 times with a weight of about 40-50% of 1RM

- Second half: Exercise 8-10 times with a weight of 50-60% of 1RM

- Round 3: Exercise 6-8 times with a weight of 70-80% of 1RM

- Round 4: From 4-6 times with a weight of over 80% of 1RM

2. The Max OT method - exceeding the threshold

Max OT stands for Maximum Overload Training which means excess training. This method is thought to help you gain muscle mass quickly.

With this method, you don't need to gain weight regularly, but you will have to do it with a fixed weight.

- Each training session lasts from 30-40 minutes;

- Each training session focuses on only 1 muscle group or 2 muscle groups but related to each other such as chest muscle - hind arm, bucket muscle - front arm

- The weight when exercising Max OT is from 80 - 90% of 1RM;

- Each exercise is done from 4-6 times;

- Each muscle group will have to train up to 6-9 heavy sets;

- After 8-10 weeks of training with Max OT, you will have 1 week of complete rest.

3. Super-set method

Super set is a practice method developed recently. With this method you can not only gain muscle but also lose fat at the same time.

When doing the super set, you will have to train with high intensity so that the muscles have to work to the maximum and develop in size quickly. This method is as follows:

- Combine from 2 exercises in one set. If increased by 4 cards will be called Giant-set;

- Do not rest between exercises in the set;

- Weight of weights from 70 - 80% of 1RM;

- Practice from 8 to 12 times with 3 innings.

4. Drop-set method

Drop set is a practice method that is the opposite of traditional training methods. If traditional practice exercises from light to heavy and reduce the number of exercises, Drop-set exercises from heavy to light again and gradually increases the number of times.

- First half: Push hard with weight about 80% of 1RM about 6-8 times;

- Second half: Push hard with weights weighing about 70-60% of 1RM;

- Round 3: Push hard with dumbbells from 50-60% of 1RM;

- Round 4: Push hard with weight from: 40 - 50% of 1RM;

Note, you should rest very little between sets for only 10-15 seconds to help maximum muscle function.

5 Safe and Effective Resistance Band Exercises for Pregnant Women

Attention: It is always advisable to consult your physician before starting a new workout, especially when you have had complications during this or a previous pregnancy.

Being pregnant is a great time in your life, in which your body undergoes many changes to support the growth and birth of your baby. Traditionally, mothers were often advised to take lots of rest during their pregnancy. However, refraining from physical activity can have a negative impact on both the health of mother and child. Especially when the mother was already not moving enough before the pregnancy and is living with obesity and other lifestyle-related diseases. The complications that arise in this instance may be the development of gestational diabetes or pregnancy hypertension.

Fortunately, pregnant women now have many options to stay active during pregnancy. Lamaze, Yoga and Pilates are good examples. Some pregnant celebrities even have special prenatal workouts developed for them.

You might not have the time or budget to have a personal trainer or hop off to the gym or yoga place on a regular basis. In that case, there are some great fitness routines you can easily do at home. To keep your muscles strong enough to recover after delivery, and to carry your baby around, here are five great resistance band exercises for pregnant women!

  1. Lateral Back/Upper Body Pulls–Grab the ends of your resistance band and extend arms overhead. Stretch the bands out above your head until you feel a nice, comfortable strain. Then, lower the stretched band to torso level and return to overhead position. That cycle represents 1 full rep. You should try to hold that stretch for 1 minute or longer (if comfortable). However, if that is too much to start out, try to complete 30 repetitions of this exercise by holding the stretch as long as you can manage. As you do these exercises more often and become fitter, you will be able to tolerate the exercise longer.
  2. Bent Over Rows–Grab the ends of your resistance band and bend over from the waist. Loop the resistance band around each foot (similar to Mickey Mouse ears) and cross the ends. Leaning forward and keeping your arms tucked close to your sides, you should pull the ends of the bands upward towards your chest and back down while squeezing your shoulder blades together. Once again, you should try to hold that stretch for 1 minute or longer (if comfortable). If that is not possible, try to complete 30 repetitions of this exercise by holding the stretch as long as possible.
  3. Opposing Muscle Groups–Grab the ends of your resistance band, position it around your back, and under your armpits. Wrap the ends of the bands around hands or use the handles if your resistance bands have them. Then, extend your arms out forward as far as comfortable, with elbows bent, and touch your hands together. Then, bring your arms back towards your chest. Again, you should try to hold that stretch for 1 minute or longer (if comfortable). If that is not possible, try to complete 30 repetitions of this exercise by holding the stretch as long as possible.
  4. Chest Fly Exercises–This exercise requires the same placement of the resistance band and is an extension of the Opposing Muscle Groups exercise we covered in number 3. The difference is that once you extend your arms forward, with elbows bent, and touch your hands together initially, you continue this exercise by extending your arms out sideways and drawing your hands back together in the center. As with the previous exercises, you should try to hold that stretch for 1 minute or longer (if comfortable). If that is not possible, try to complete 30 repetitions of this exercise by holding the stretch as long as possible.
  5. Biceps Curls–Grab the ends of your resistance band and loop the resistance band under both feet so that you are standing on top of it. Then, wrap the ends around your hands or use the handles of the bands, pull in an upward direction (to the sky), and back down towards the ground. This is a simple exercise most people are familiar with but it is quite effective for bicep and core strengthening. As with all of these exercises, you should try to hold that stretch for 1 minute or longer (if comfortable). If that is not possible, try to complete 30 repetitions of this exercise by holding the stretch as long as possible.

Listen to your body and do not overdo any of these moves. I hope they will help you to keep fit during your pregnancy, and will increase the speed of your recovery after delivery.
